Governance
Board of Directors
The LTSA is governed by an eleven-member Board of Directors which is responsible for strategic oversight of the LTSA's business and setting policy. The Board is accountable to the 'principals' of the LTSA, namely the users of BC land title and survey systems. The President and CEO reports to the Board of Directors.
The LTSA Board members select and appoint Directors from lists of nominees provided by stakeholder entities. Current Board Directors and the stakeholder nominating entity that nominated them are:
Stakeholder Advisory Committee
The LTSA's Stakeholder Advisory Committee ensures that the Board of Directors and management staff are kept aware of any stakeholder concerns and recommendations related to land title and survey plan registration services. The Committee includes members and representation as follows:

Legislation
The LTSA's operations are governed by numerous provincial statutes and regulations. Key statutes of interest include the following:
Operating Agreement
The LTSA is independent of the provincial government, and is required to meet obligations and performance targets established in provincial legislation and in a written Operating Agreement with the Province.
LTSA By-laws
The By-laws support accountable governance.
The Consolidated Bylaws are a compendium of current, approved by-laws of the Board of Directors.
