The LTSA highly recommends customers using Adobe Acrobat Version 6 Standard and Professional upgrade to a newer version by December 4, 2009. As Adobe no longer supports Acrobat Version 6, future versions of the LTSA's electronic filing forms will only support Adobe Acrobat Version 7 or higher. Similarly, the latest version of the Ministry of Finance's Property Transfer Tax form (Version 20) can only be used with Acrobat Version 7 or higher. Until December 4, 2009, the LTSA will continue to make Version 19 of the Property Transfer Tax form available for Acrobat 6 users.
Last year, Adobe announced the termination of support for Acrobat Versions 6 Standard and Professional, and at that time, the LTSA recommended customers upgrade to a higher version. Customers using Version 6 should follow the instructions below to upgrade to Version 9.
1) Upgrade to Adobe Acrobat Standard Version 9
