The Mission of the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) is to create confidence by delivering assured land title and land survey systems essential to the property market and economic foundation of British Columbia.

Updated Electronic Payment Authorization Form (Version 7) Available for Download in LTSA's Electronic Filing System

The Electronic Payment Authorization form (Version 7) used with the LTSA's Electronic Filing System (EFS) contains the appropriate updates to ensure compliance with the new Canadian Payments Association's (Association) Rule H1 requirements for pre-authorized debits (PADs).

Download the new Electronic Payment Authorization form (Version 7) from Download Templates in the left navigation menu of EFS or the Electronic Form Templates page on www.ltsa.ca.

Rule H1, as updated, grandfathers submitted electronic payment authorizations and requires new forms to be used subsequent to February 28, 2010. Up to February 28, 2010, clients using older versions of the forms with EFS will receive a warning upon submission to download the new version. EFS will reject any old versions of forms subsequent to February 28, 2010

As of February 28, 2010, new requirements for PADs will come into effect to comply with the Canadian Payments Association's Rule H1. As a result, all businesses using PADs need to make changes to their Payor's PAD Agreements to reflect these requirements.
