The Mission of the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) is to create confidence by delivering assured land title and land survey systems essential to the property market and economic foundation of British Columbia.

Land Title and Survey Authority Fees for Service

The fees for services provided by the LTSA are shown below. For transactions carried out in-person, fees are payable by debit card, cash or cheque. Please make cheques payable to the: Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia.

All registration fees are GST exempt. Please note that effective November 1, 2008, there will be a 5% Goods and Services Tax ("GST") charged on copy card sales, plan copies, and plan mail-outs administered in the land title offices. In the Surveyor General's Records Distribution Department, the following fees will also have a 5% GST charge: Research and administration services, photocopies, plans, copy cards, digital images and faxes.

Note: The number of cells or claims involved in a plan resulting from a partial survey is the number of cells or claims touched by monuments in that plan.

Mineral Title Survey Plan Confirmation (Non-statutory)

Review and examination by the Surveyor General of a plan resulting from a full or partial survey of a mineral title if the plan is prepared:

a) other than pursuant to a requirement under the Mineral Tenure Act; and
b) for purposes of filing it in the Crown Land Registry.

Note: The number of cells or claims involved in a plan resulting from a partial survey is the number of cells or claims touched by monuments in that plan.

1 to 10 cells or claims, inclusive - $500.00
11 to 20 cells or claims, inclusive - $1,100.00

Mineral Title Infrastructure Survey Plan

Review and examination by the Surveyor General of a plan resulting from a survey of infrastructure works associated with a mineral title if the plan is prepared for purposes of filing it in the Crown Land Registry.

$324.00 per plan

Mining Lease Reduction Plan confirmation

Review and examination by the Surveyor General of a plan prepared to reduce the area of a Mining Lease in accordance with section 44 Mineral Tenure Act.
