Customers selecting the BC OnLine menu option "Land Title and Survey Authority" now access the LTSA's new Title Search and Document Retrieval and Electronic Filing System services in one place. The updated search and retrieval services replace a system that was built over 20 years ago. Users will be required to use the new search and retrieval system after January 3, 2010, as access to the old system and 3270 emulator search screens will no longer be possible after this date.

Since its launch in February 2009, the LTSA and BC OnLine have been working with users to ensure that their transition to the improved system is successful. System updates in late September 2009 and on October 25, 2009 have added many printing capabilities and improved viewing in web browsers. Minor updates to the search and retrieval system are planned in November and December.
