TO ALL BRITISH COLUMBIA LAND SURVEYORS

Re: Goods and Services Tax

The Land Title and Survey Authority (the “Authority”) is now a Goods and Services (“GST”) tax registrant for many services that were previously considered “exempt”.

Effective November 1, 2008, the Authority will begin charging GST on all applicable services and products. A document outlining the service and product fees of the Surveyor General’s Records Distribution Services business unit, which will now include a GST charge, can be found on the Authority’s website at the link noted below.
