Consent on Subdivision, Reference and Explanatory Plans where the Provincial Crown is the Registered Owner of the Land
On March 28, 2007 the Surveyor General published and circulated Circular Letter 434.
Contained within Circular Letter 434 was a link to a list of Ministry of Agriculture and Lands staff who were authorized to sign subdivision, reference and explanatory plans as owner, on behalf of the Crown. This list can be found HERE.
Please note that this list has been updated.
Any Manager, Regional Manager, Land Officer or Senior Land Officer of the Integrated Land Management Bureau (ILMB) and any Director or Manager of the Crown Land Administration Division (LCA) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands is authorized to sign plans as owner, on behalf of the province where the title to the land is in the name of the Crown, where the title to the land is in the name of the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands and where the title to the land is in the name of a former ministry, the responsibilities of which now rest with the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands
If a ministry other than those above appear as owner on a certificate of title please contact our office for direction as to the appropriate signatory.
Please also note the Direction to Land Surveyors document which contains a direction for electronic survey plan processes relating to land which is titled to the provincial Crown.
