Improvements to the myLTSA Submission Process

Over the coming months, the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) will be introducing several improvements to the myLTSA submission process, including both Web Filing and the Land Owner Transparency Registry (LOTR). These new features have been designed with customer feedback in order to make the submission process easier and more efficient. The majority of these changes will be introduced over multiple dates in Summer 2021, prior to the retirement of select PDF forms scheduled for September 12, 2021.

Customers will be able to validate packages, add the LOTR reference and submit applications directly from Web Filing. Improved package information and management tools will be introduced in the Web Filing dashboard, including a status indicator for ‘submitted’ packages.

In LOTR, a filtering option will be added to the LOTR dashboard in order to search previously submitted filings, and LOTR search results will be able to be sent to your myLTSA inbox along with a full receipt. In Fall 2021, a template feature (similar to Web Filing) will be added to LOTR to pre-populate fields and minimize repetitive data entry.

Web Filing is one of several steps towards streamlining land title and surveyor general submissions and maintaining a secure and reliable electronic filing system.
