The Director of Land Titles plans to release five updated land title forms on October 15, 2018. The updated forms will take effect immediately upon release; they will be available for download from a myLTSA Enterprise account or from the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) website.

The following land title forms will be updated:

FORMCHANGE

Local Government Filing Form

Modify Nature of Interest (Heritage Status Notice - Vancouver Charter)

Form B - Mortgage

Replace "Freehold" with "Fee Simple" as field label for Item 8 - Interest Mortgaged

Replace "Commissioner for Taking Affidavits in British Columbia" with "Commissioner for Taking Affidavits for British Columbia" in the dropdown selection list for Item 12 - Professional Capacity

Form 17 - Charge, Notation or Filing

Add Nature of Interest (Land Title Inquiry Act Certificate)

Form 17 - Fee Simple

Remove Nature of Interest (Land Title Inquiry Act Certificate)

Survey Plan Certification

Modify date field in Item 3 - Certifications

On October 15, 2018, practitioners should download the latest versions of the forms for immediate use. Previous versions will still be accepted but will be phased out by the end of 2018.
